Daley's Week 12 in Review

I can't believe that it's already week 12...where does the time go? In this case, I am super excited that it seems to be flying by because I am ready to be at my goal weight AND that means I'll be closer to graduation (thank you Jesus!).

Well, this week was much better, I was able to lose 3 of the 4 pounds I gained over spring break. I was very determined to get that weight off as quick as possible because I wanted to start seeing progress again. I think that walking everyday after school and definitely making sure that I stay within my PointPlus value every day is the only reason I have been so successful each week that I've lost weight.

I am so excited to have made it this far in my journey without giving up or getting too terribly discouraged...this is truly more of a lifestyle change than a diet and I couldn't be happier about the decision I've made to live a little healthier.

Daley's Week 11 in Review

Well, now I am back to reality and it isn't pretty. I gained 4 pound over spring break but I know my main problem was that I just didn't stick to my PointsPlus like I should have. I also didn't do a whole lot of excersie even though we did hit the gym a time or two as well as walked our butts off while we were in Canada at Niagara Falls! I think spending almost four solid days driving is what also threw me into a bit of a tailspin. However, I am not going to let this 4 pound gain get me down because I am just going to work harder this next week to get it back off.

Can't wait to see what Sunday's weigh in brings!

Daley's Week 10 in Review

Well, last week I didn't lose any weight but, the good news is I didn't gain any weight either. The even better news is that I am officially on spring break....finally...yay! I am so excited to be able spend this much time with my sweet husband. We just got back from Niagara Falls yesterday and it was amazing (but it is super cold still in Canada!). I have to admit that I have been pretty good as far as eating goes but I haven't been completely on track with my points, not really counting them every single day but for the most part I feel good about my food choices. We have also done a TON of walking and even hit them gym once already.

I am hoping that this week will still be great and I won't do too bad but I also don't want to over obsess and not enjoy myself either!

I guess we will find out next Sunday!

PS: HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET, SWEET HUSBAND!!! (It was yesterday) :-)

Daley's Week 9 in Review

Yay, Yay, Yay! I am so excited about today's weigh in, I lost 5 pounds this week! I really didn't do anything over the top different but I did add in a little more walking, maybe an extra mile or two this week is all. I really needed this boost because I have to admit, I was getting a little tired of 1 pound per week weigh ins.

I think this week will be another good week but I leave for Ohio on Friday and this will be a huge test for me. Having Royce be so supportive and involved as well will definitely make it easier but I know that I am going to have to really dig deep for some serious motivation in effort to not just maintain my weight loss but to make sure I don't gain anything during the week I will be gone. I can't wait to let everyone know how it goes!
