Week 15...Really?

I truly cannot believe it's already week 15! What happened to this year? I know that nursing school is making my time fly and I am so grateful for that. I honestly thing that being in nursing school is a huge contributing factor to me being successful in losing weight. 

Okay, for this weeks weight loss....well...it's two more pounds! I'm super excited to have done so well this week. I really worked hard on making sure I ate more 0 point foods such as fruits and veggies, more fruits than veggies but hey, I tried! :-) 

I hope that next week goes just as well! Have a fabulous week everybody!

Daley's Week 14 in Review

What a fantastic week, I lost 4.4 pounds! I really did well this week sticking with my PointsPlus allowance as well as walking every night except for Tuesday. I also started to jog a little (very, very little) of my mile and it's getting me really excited at the thought of running again one day. Another small change that I think made a big difference was that I stopped eating anything 2-3 hours before bedtime. I have always been notorious for eating late and then going to sleep which is obviously no the ideal situation.

I can't wait to see what yet another week brings while implementing these new little ideas. I hope everyone has a fantastic week!

I thought this was such a great quote that I had to share it with you all. This is especially true with trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You have to be prepared for lunches being skipped, getting stuck in traffic while your starving and those damn golden arches are right in front of you at the next exit, or any other moment that would weaken your willpower and make you get off track. My point....always have a backup plan! I always make sure I have enough healthy, reduced calorie snacks to get me through in case something unexpected happens. Hope this helps!

Daley's Week 13 in Review

I don't have much to talk about this week good or bad, just kind of an uneventful, ordinary week. I didn't lose any weight this week but I also didn't gain. I know that getting back into the swing of things at school has definitely kept me on my toes but also kept me away from exercising as much as I need to. I've really go to start thinking of a plan on how to bump up my weekly weight loss average. I guess that will give me something to think about and I will update everyone next week. Daley's Week 12 in Review

I can't believe that it's already week 12...where does the time go? In this case, I am super excited that it seems to be flying by because I am ready to be at my goal weight AND that means I'll be closer to graduation (thank you Jesus!).

Well, this week was much better, I was able to lose 3 of the 4 pounds I gained over spring break. I was very determined to get that weight off as quick as possible because I wanted to start seeing progress again. I think that walking everyday after school and definitely making sure that I stay within my PointPlus value every day is the only reason I have been so successful each week that I've lost weight.

I am so excited to have made it this far in my journey without giving up or getting too terribly discouraged...this is truly more of a lifestyle change than a diet and I couldn't be happier about the decision I've made to live a little healthier.

Daley's Week 11 in Review

Well, now I am back to reality and it isn't pretty. I gained 4 pound over spring break but I know my main problem was that I just didn't stick to my PointsPlus like I should have. I also didn't do a whole lot of excersie even though we did hit the gym a time or two as well as walked our butts off while we were in Canada at Niagara Falls! I think spending almost four solid days driving is what also threw me into a bit of a tailspin. However, I am not going to let this 4 pound gain get me down because I am just going to work harder this next week to get it back off.

Can't wait to see what Sunday's weigh in brings!
